G'day folks!

Just a quick hello to everyone whilst I am catching up on devwatches, posting a few new deviations and the like.

Things had been rather non-creative here - I did something to my wrist that meant I couldn't chainmaille, crochet or knit for nearly a month! I decided to celebrate the departure of the pain by crocheting my first amigurumi doll. I was watching Star Trek episodes at the time, and he ended up becoming a Romulan (hence the making of Tomalak) - you can see him here [link]

I've also posted a couple of cross stitch pieces and the latest version of the owls - if you are interested in making an owl of your own please note me as I actually drew up and kept a reasonablish pattern for this one.

Apart from that, I'm now back into things full swing (especially with Christmas coming up). I've got a fair bit of bling (aka chainmaille) on the go at the moment, as well as a few knitting projects. Plus (thanks to Tomalak) I'm currently crocheting the science faculty of one of the local campuses of our college for Mum. One of her faculty are about to go on maternity leave, so I'm doing a doll representation of each of the staff. Fingers crossed they will turn out (and be completed within time)!!

As for news from the Sturt front - he is a boy cockatiel and we have just been through Spring. For those of you with male cockatiels - I know you will understand fully what this has meant
